My proposal of large scale figures was accepted for the space when you leave the lifts on the first floor of Benzie. The process of translating the smaller figures to larger took a lot of time. I managed to get my files sorted and cut, so I will be using the weeks following the deadline to get the figures looking up to scratch. I have also experimented with some smaller ones to go along the lifts, at different scales to experiment with the notion of body dysmorphia.
I have been granted the funding to execute these pieces, and have had paint testers mixed so that I can get the perfect colours. It all feels very exciting!
